&lt;span&gt;seems extremely plausible that a divergent sect of apes opted for wading and diving rather than the plains and canopies when African climate change threatened established food sources. Deep diving for food over millions of years would have eventually lead to amphibious evolutionary adaptations.&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;span&gt;The typically higher nutrient content of oceanic food sources would also have likely lead to higher brain function at an earlier stage meaning these beings may be MORE advanced than us, but not necessarily.&lt;/span&gt;
&lt;span&gt;UFO archetypes have permeated the collective for A LONG TIME (as early as BC via painting depiction) and their shape, mathematically speaking would be ideal for slipping in and out of the water (thin disc shaped)&lt;/span&gt;
